PagBrasil has just launched two important new updates for Shopify merchants, allowing an even more customized experience in payment processing. With the new features, merchants can benefit from higher conversion rates and increase profit margins.
Charge interest to installment payments
Now, Shopify merchants may charge interest to installments made with credit cards, in order to compensate for the cost of anticipated pay-out. It is possible to determine to which installment the merchant wishes to transfer to the customer.
Specific payment methods activation
Now, merchants may choose select payment methods specifically for the Shopify store. Before the update, if the merchant chose to remove the boleto from the online store, the payment method would also be removed from the payment link.
With the new feature, merchants may now activate specific payment methods exclusively for the Shopify store and payment link.
Previous updates
Earlier this year, PagBrasil launched other features that enhance the Shopify plugin, such as the exclusive address validation for Shopify: with its autofill features, buyers simply provide their ZIP code at checkout and the address fields are automatically filled in, increasing conversions and avoiding delivery issues.
In addition, merchants may now send their users automized payment confirmation emails with personalized messages, assuring buyers their payments have been successfully processed.
PagBrasil plugin for Shopify
First introduced in 2015, PagBrasil’s plugin provides merchants instant access to all major Brazilian payment methods, in addition to Boleto Flash®, the only boleto bancário that offers payment confirmation in less than one hour, and PEC Flash®, which enables customers to pay in cash for their online purchases. The plugin is also fully responsive, adapting the checkout to any mobile screen resolution.
