With the new module, PrestaShop merchants are offered a wide range of Brazilian payment methods.
Porto Alegre, September 2019 – PagBrasil has recently introduced its revamped in-house module developed for PrestaShop, the open-source ready-made solution to create and manage online businesses. With its fully responsive technology, the module provides a seamless payment experience for any screen resolution. It also enables PrestaShop merchants to offer their consumers the broad range of Brazilian payment methods available on PagBrasil’s platform: local credit and debit cards, boleto bancário – including the exclusive Boleto Flash®, the only boleto solution in Brazil that offers payment confirmation in less than one hour and comes with a responsive layout – and online banking transfer from Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Itaú, and Banrisul.
“We are delighted to present our new PrestaShop module,” says Ralf Germer, CEO, and co-founder of PagBrasil, and notes: “We aim to facilitate access to all major Brazilian payment methods to local and international merchants, and this partnership is another step towards that. By making the integration of payments easier and more cost-effective for PrestaShop merchants, we continue to contribute to the development of the Brazilian e-commerce segment.”
PrestaShop is a freemium open-source e-commerce platform that powers approximately 270,000 websites worldwide. “In Brazil, the platform holds a smaller share of the market, but we have noticed an increase in the number of leads who have PrestaShop powered stores and are looking for a payment provider,” noted Mr. Germer.
In addition to facilitating payments in Brazil for PrestaShop merchants, PagBrasil’s module offers a comprehensive range of additional services and features aimed at improving payment conversion rates. Each business has its own specific needs, and, for that reason, the add-on also enables merchants to adjust a series of parameters to better serve them.
“We are excited about the partnership with PagBrasil. Brazil is the largest market in Latin America and the e-commerce segment is experiencing great momentum, with predicted YoY growth of 16% for 2019. PagBrasil’s vast experience in the Brazilian market adds value to our merchants selling in Brazil so that they can maximize their sales,” commented Romain Balluais, Lead Business Developer at PrestaShop.
