LEGAL COSTS
Effective as of March 2026.
In the event that PagBrasil becomes a party to a lawsuit or administrative proceeding initiated by End Customers seeking compensation in connection with events attributable to the Merchant, the Merchant shall be responsible for the related costs, as provided in the applicable Terms and Conditions.
The costs described below represent the amounts currently applied and are not limited to these items, and may include, as applicable, court and administrative fees, procedural expenses, attorney’s fees awarded by the court, amounts related to judgments, settlements, compensation payments, and any other expenses related to the lawsuit or proceeding.
1. Administrative Fees – Internal PagBrasil Case Management
These fees correspond to PagBrasil’s internal costs for managing, monitoring, and handling the case:
PROCON proceeding processing Fee: BRL 250,00 per proceeding.
Judicial Claim processing Fee: BRL 500,00 per lawsuit.
2. Attorney’s Fees – External Law Firm
These fees refer to the legal services provided by the law firm representing PagBrasil.
Administrative Proceedings
Handling of PROCON proceeding: BRL 1,500.00 per proceeding.
Judicial Proceedings
Handling of Small Claims Court lawsuit: BRL 3,250.00 per lawsuit.
Handling of Civil Court lawsuit: BRL 4,250.00 per lawsuit.
Settlement agreement prior to filing a defense: BRL 2,500.00 per lawsuit.
Motion to release blocked funds (when applicable): BRL 1,500.00 per lawsuit.
