With Boleto Flash®, payments can be carried out at any lottery agency, bank branch or authorized processor with accelerated payment confirmation
Porto Alegre, June 2019 – Aiming to provide a better answer for the fast-paced e-commerce environment, PagBrasil, leading fintech company providing payment processing services for e-commerce businesses worldwide, now provides its clients with payment confirmation in less than one hour for boleto payments. Thanks to its exclusive Boleto Flash®, the company quickly confirms all boleto payments, regardless of whether they were paid at a lottery agency, bank institution or authorized entities.
According to study by Segmento Pesquisas, in partnership with PagBrasil, almost 47% of consumers are used to paying their online purchases with boleto bancário. And nearly 24% declare this is their preferred payment method, with the percentage surpassing 30% among the lower-income population and young adults between 18 and 24 years of age. The use of boleto bancário, however, could be even higher if shops were to provide payment confirmation on the same day.
“We are happy with the journey we had with Boleto Flash® so far. The more e-commerce evolves, the more we need to provide consumers with payment methods that answer to the accelerated rhythm of the segment, with solutions without payment confirmation delay and that are mobile-friendly,” comments Ralf Germer, co-founder and co-CEO at PagBrasil.
Launched in 2016 and continuously updated, Boleto Flash® solves two of the main problems of the old boleto: delayed payment confirmation and lack of responsive layout. Boleto Flash® also allows merchants to flexibly define individual expiry date for each boleto issued as well as extend the date after it expires and includes an automated refund function.
[…] Finally, only 5.75% revealed facing any difficulties purchasing online. For 13% of them, the problems were related to slow response in payment confirmation. In addition, 62.8% of interviewees said they purchased online using a boleto at least once – which indicates the reliability of this payment method, even with all the limitations of the traditional boleto.
